Former Real Madrid player Paco Bonet says no-one at Barcelona would dare challenge Lionel Messi's authority.
Barca returned to the top of the LaLiga Santander table with a victory over Athletic Club on Tuesday, after they lost their two-point advantage over Real Madrid at the weekend.
"I think that if Messi's place was taken by someone else, he would have been chucked to the street," Bonet told Radio MARCA.
"This is practically a business and the great players must play every week.
"So these great players need to have more respect when it comes to being rested, if it had happened to Casemiro then nothing would have happened."
