Napoli coach Rino Gattuso was delighted with his players after they won the Coppa Italia final.

The match against Juventus ended 0-0 on the night in Rome, thanks largely to Gigi Buffon heroics and the woodwork, but the Partenopei won on penalties for their sixth Coppa trophy.

Gattuso said, “Life and especially football has given me so much more than I gave to it. It made me a man. In life, you always think of your parents and family first, so naturally what happened is hard to accept.

“I have such passion for football, I know that I can't let go even for a second.

“Anyone who does this job must respect it, because we are lucky. This is why I get angry when I don't see passion, as I have no regrets about my career and that's what I want these players to say too. I believe in the God of Football, when you do it right, you reap what you sow and it comes back to you."
