Chelsea are eyeing Villarreal defender Pau Torres.
Torres, the 23-year-old central defender, has been attracting interest across the continent after impressing during his first full season in La Liga.
The Daily Mail says Torres has a release clause of around £45million in his contract, which still has three years left to run.
Villarreal would likely need to lower their asking price if Torres were to move over the coming months.
Burnley are the only team in the Premier League's top half to have conceded more goals than Chelsea's 44 this term.
