Former England coach Glenn Hoddle slammed Leicester City for their defeat to Manchester United.
Hoddle tore into Leicester after their 2-0 defeat by United confirmed the Foxes' slide from a once-secure Champions League spot to fifth.
"Possibly there does need to be a rebuild, there are a few players there that are the wrong side of 30 now. Now would be the time," Hoddle said on BT Sport.
"But it's sacrilege really, to be 14 points clear in shutdown (and throw it away).
"In top level sport you can not take your foot off the pedal. I felt in their early games when they came back it was all a bit too easy and there was no venom in their play.
"At the end of the day it was a mental approach, nothing to do with the players and Vardy waiting to get his 100th goal - I think it was a mentality.
"I think Brendan will look back and think 'wow, what could we have done'.
"They're still a a very good side, I love watching them play. But they switched off and you cannot switch off at the top level because you'll get punished."
