Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has handed coach Zinedine Zidane more control for next season.
Florentino wants Zidane to stay and has handed him plenty of power.
Zidane advised a few weeks ago that despite having a contract, the future was unknown: "I'm here now, but nobody knows what will happen. I have a contract and I'm happy. I don't know when I'll be here until."
Florentino has changed tack after Zidane left in 2018 after winning a third Champions League in a row. It was because Florentino made a project that didn't convince Zidane and he decided to resign as a result.
With more power, Zidane will stay next season. The coach wants a right back, a midfielder and a No 9 signed for next season.
