Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says no decision has been made over on-loan winger Ivan Perisic.
Perisic is currently with Bayern from Inter Milan, though a permanent deal is yet to be considered.
“We have not decided anything yet with regards to Perisic," said Rummenigge.
"But I would just like to underline that Bayern Munich have to face some important financial challenges too."
The Germans just splashed out €49m to get Leroy Sane from Manchester City, so are having to rethink their summer spending.
