Manchester United and Southampton had scouts posted to Poland on the weekend to watch Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak.
With fans clear to attend games in Poland, United and Saints had scouts in the stands to see Lech Poznan defeat Legia Warsaw 2-1.
Poland international Jozwiak, 22, struck first to only add to his reputation.
Wirtualna Polska's Marek Wawrzynowski confirmed the presence of the representatives from Saints and United on the day.
