Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident they're on track to match Liverpool and Manchester City in the future.

Resurgent United go into Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on the back of a 19-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

We're in a much better place than we were a year ago but this is still just the start," said Solskjaer.

“We have to keep on growing, keep on improving and trying to move closer to the teams in front of us and, when the time is there, hopefully we can jump above them.

“There's a big challenge, they've been two top teams, they've been fantastic for the last two years and the chasing pack, with us and the other teams around, we have a challenge on our hands.

“But we've always believed in this squad and the way we work, and we thought with time we could improve, develop and get closer to the top of the league."
