The centre-back is wanted by several clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League.
But a report from Sky Sport Germany suggests the 25-year-old is wanted by Italian giants Inter Milan.
The club want him to replace Diego Godin, as they aim to put together a squad to win the Scudetto.
If the London clubs want to sign Ginter, they will have to move quickly and outbid Inter.
