Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah has hailed captain Jordan Henderson as their player of the season.
Liverpool wrapped up their first top-flight crown in 30 years last Thursday after Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea, with that result handing them their first ever Premier League trophy with a record seven games to spare.
Salah told BeIN SPORTS: "We had a great season but if I will choose one I will pick Henderson because he is our captain, he is here for 8-9 years and faced criticism many times and got over it.
"He is a great person also and tries to help everyone always."
Liverpool are back in action on Thursday night when they travel to the Etihad to face City in a mouthwatering Premier League tussle.
