Manchester City are ready to revive talks for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Didier Zakaria.
City are set for a major spending spree this summer after having their Champions League ban overturned earlier this week.
Rheinischen Post says City held intense negotiations with Zakaria and his management team before their UEFA ban was handed down. It's now expected they will revive talks.
Indeed, it's been revealed Zakaria has been on the radar of City manager Pep Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Begiristain since 2017.
And there's a confidence that City will return and clinch a deal with Gladbach for the Swiss in the coming months.
