Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson will not face any action after confronting match officials at the end of their 1-1 draw with Burnley.

After the final whistle, Robertson remonstrated to the referee about not being awarded a penalty - despite being impeded in the box by Johan Berg Gudmundsson.

Jurgen Klopp pulled the defender away from the official and asked questions of his own about what he saw as a lack of protection for goalkeeper Alisson at set pieces.

The Mirror reports the FA confirmed they had received the report from match official Coote, and the fourth official, and neither included any reference to Robertson's outburst.

That means he will face no further action, and so will escape the threat of a fine or ban.
