Manchester United have failed with an opening offer for Borussia Dortmund whiz Jadon Sancho.
BILD says Dortmund have turned down United's first approach, with the English giants preparing another offer to tempt the German's into relaxing their £109m demands.
United have opened the bidding at £89m. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have been strongly liked to Sancho, with Old Trafford understood to be the Londoner's dream move.
The Bundesliga runners-up reportedly have no interest in lowering their asking price despite the coronavirus' harsh impact of football's finances.
Sancho is set for a return to training on Thursday as Dortmund prepare for next season, hoping to challenge Bayern Munich once again after the dominant Bavarians stormed to the 2019-20 title.
