Manchester United are in contact with Atletico Madrid for goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Oblak is unsettled at Atletico and is looking for a bigger, more ambitious challenge with a move to the Premier League at the forefront of his thinking.
He is aware that Chelsea would like to sign him but The Sun reports United want to be kept in the loop about his situation due to de Gea's worrying drop in form recently.
Oblak, 27, has a £120m buy-out clause in the contract he signed last year, which expires in 2023.
However, a lower figure could well be expected with Atletico having been hit hard financially by the coronavirus crisis.
