Leeds United are making a move for Reading striker Danny Loader.
The Daily Mail says Leeds are making a last-ditch move to snatch Loader from under Crystal Palace and Porto's noses.
The club's director of football Victor Orta has personally targeted the 19-year-old as a key signing ahead of Leeds' return to the Premier League and has launched an attempt to complete a deal.
The 19-year-old is in advanced talks over a free transfer to Porto giants ahead of the new season, while Palace also have a concrete interest.
Porto are willing to offer Loader a three-year deal, worth close to £1million a season.
