Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has taken fresh aim at Liverpool's coaching staff after Wednesday's blow-up at Anfield.

Footage emerged which shows the moment the Chelsea boss lost his cool and exploded into a heated, foul-mouthed argument with Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool bench, repeatedly telling his counterpart to "f*** off".

Lampard has insisted that he will always stand up for his team, but did admit he was regretful over some of the foul language used during the incident.

"I've seen the video, I was there. In terms of language used, I regret it because I've got two young daughters on social media," he said in the press conference before the Wolves game on Sunday.

"In terms of passion to defend my team? No. I could have handled it differently but some of the reports were I was upset with the celebrations. Far from it. They can celebrate like every goal.... I'd have had a beer with Jurgen Klopp after the game but there were things on the bench, not from Klopp, that I felt crossed a line. I regret the language but we'll move on."
