Leicester City midfielder Harvey Barnes is a shock summer target for Liverpool.
The Mirror says the 22-year-old is a target for Liverpool with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly an admirer of his energy and running power.
The England Under-21 international - who has scored seven goals and recorded nine assists from 41 games this season for Leicester - has previously spent time on loan at MK Dons, Barnsley and West Brom.
It was at the West Midlands club that Barnes made an impression and to such an extent that he was recalled by Leicester in the 2019 January transfer window.
Liverpool also find his versatility an attractive quality, with the forward able to play in a variety of positions up front.
