Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is in the job for the long haul.
That's according to French pundit Frederic Hermel, who says Zidane is determined to better the record he enjoyed during his first spell in charge.
Hermel wrote for France Football: "I did not expect that. No one expected it. Not even Zidane himself. No, he wouldn't return to Real for many years. Or maybe never. This is why I started writing this biography in the fall of 2018, which was to end his stage with the Merengues and part of my career as a correspondent in Madrid.
"But his return to the Real bench made me discover something new. I knew that Zidane always defined himself as a 'competitor', a word he kept repeating. A competitor against the opponents. But, by resuming service in Madrid, he discovered a new rival.
"Zidane the second period coach wants to do better than Zidane first period (9 titles). And with this Liga, which is added to the Spanish Supercup conquered in January, he already has two trophies. With Zizou, you must never say never."
