Manchester City defender Eric Garcia is prepared to resist a return to Barcelona - if he can be sure of Pep Guardiola's presence.
Garcia is in new contract talks with City as Barca make a major push to convince the former La Masia graduate to return home.
But while flattered by Barca's interest, Garcia is willing to sign new terms with City if Guardiola does the same.
The City manager's current deal expires next summer and he has been reluctant to publicly commit to the club beyond that date when asked.
Mundo Deportivo says any chance of Barca of tempting Garcia back home will depend on Guardiola refusing to consider discussing new terms with City's board.
