Antonio Cordon has been named new sports director of Real Betis.
He has signed a four-year contract and replaces Alexis Trujillo.
Cordon joins Betis after terminating his contract with the Ecuadorian FA. He is a past sporting director of AS Monaco.
Cordon is reunited with new Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini, having been a scout with Villarreal during Pellegrini's time in charge.
Last season, Betis finished fifteenth on the table.
