Everton have swooped for Olympique Marseille youngster Niels Nkounkou.
Foot Mercato says Everton have reached personal terms with the 19 year-old defender, who has refused to sign pro terms with OM.
Instead, Nkounkou has accepted a three-year contract from Everton with the option for a fourth.
Primarily a left-back, Nkounkou's decision has been influenced by the presence of fellow Frenchman Lucas Digne at Goodison Park. The youngster is eager to learn from the France international.
Nkounkou can move immediately to Merseyside with OM's season now over.
