West Ham United have formally announced the signing of Tomas Soucek.
The Czech Republic international has performed well during his loan spell with The Hammers, having joined from Slavia Prague in January until the end of the season.
West Ham had an option in the loan agreement to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent deal so as long as they secured Premier League survival.
Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford mathematically confirmed their place in the top flight next season, meaning The Hammers could trigger the £15million option to buy the midfielder.
Soucek has put pen to paper on a four-year deal and Hammers boss David Moyes is delighted that he has the midfielder on board for a long term basis.
"I have always believed it would be a permanent deal because I knew it was subject to us being in the Premier League and I always felt that we would be a Premier League club so I never really had any great worries about Tomas," he told Sky Sports News.
"The biggest concern was how well and how quickly he could fit into the Premier League. I think all the other things connected to him were good - he could score, he could run, he was a good footballer. So it was more to see how he would fit in.
"I was always confident he would be here with us. But I am glad to get it out of the way because I've been asked the question a few times."
