Chelsea academy star Lewis Bate has earned a surprise senior call.
Goal reports manager Frank Lampard is set to include academy star Bate in his squad for Sheffield United.
N'Golo Kante and Billy Gilmour are injured, Mateo Kovacic has only just recovered from an achilles injury and Jorginho has not started a match since the Premier League restart.
It means Lampard will fast-track 17-year-old Bate into the senior squad.
