Werder Bremen are in talks with a club about a move for Milot Rashica.
The 24-year-old is a target for Liverpool this summer.
Rashica has impressed in midfield for Bremen and is also a target for Aston Villa, AC Milan and RB Leipzig.
And according to Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann, the player wants to go.
"Other than Milot Rashica, who wants to take the next step in his career, no player has come to us and said they want to leave the club," Baumann told reporters.
"There is movement and discussions with a club, but other clubs are also interested in him.
"We have to assume that he won't be with us next season. But we don't need to sell below value."
The player has a £33 million release clause.
