Wout Weghorst insists leaving VfL Wolfsburg this summer can be good for the club.
The Dutch centre-forward has been linked with Arsenal and Newcastle United in the past week.
Weghorst told BILD: “It is good for a club if it gets a lot of money again after it has invested in a player.
"I have ambitions and I want to achieve the highest. In the past two years I have been able to show that I can deliver at this level and that there is more for me to do.
“We discussed that we would sit down if something exciting came up for me. But because of corona, we have a strange market. And I get a lot of recognition in Wolfsburg, I play an important role in sport and people. I feel good, my family too."
