Adam Lewis has won a new deal with Liverpool.

The 20-year-old made his first-team debut in February when he started the FA Cup fourth-round replay victory over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield.

"Sometimes people will ask me why aren't I at Melwood or training with the first-team, but you've got to realise you are playing for the best team in the world," he said.

"This is probably one of the hardest teams to get into right now, so getting out on loan and being around a senior environment will help me as a player because I'll be training with men."

Liam Coyle, Ben Winterbottom, Vitezslav Jaros and Joe Hardy have all signed fresh terms in recent weeks.
