West Ham United are closing in on a permanent deal for Tomas Soucek.

The Hammers are now safe from relegation after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Wednesday.

It means they can make transfer plans knowing they are in the top flight for next season.

And the Daily Telegraph reports the Hammers will line up a permanent deal for Soucek as soon as possible.

The 25-year-old has impressed since arriving on loan in January from Slavia Prague.

Per the report, it would take roughly £19 million to secure his signature.

Manager David Moyes recently confirmed he wanted Soucek to stay next season.
