Everton hero Kevin Campbell has been impressed by Dominic Calvert-Lewin this season.

The 23-year-old is level with Richarlison as the club's top scorer this term, bagging 13 Premier League goals and currently sitting on a tally of 15 in all competitions.

Campbell told the Liverpool Echo: "I think he's [Calvert-Lewin] done brilliantly.

"When he plays on his own it's a lot different and a lot more difficult for him than when he's got someone to play with, because it's a foil and occupies the other centre half.

"When it's just the one forward up there, both centre halves could tee off on you - one could go tight and the other could drop off. So it's a lot more difficult.

"He tends to find that he runs channels well, but that means when he gets the ball and sets it back, he can't then be in the box.

"But having Richarlison up there and Moise Kean at times I think he's done brilliantly. He's on 15 goals this season so far, which is a fantastic return.

"Carlo Ancelotti will definitely be looking at somebody to maybe play with him because I still think Richarlison isn't quite a striker, I think he's better coming from wide."
