Chelsea whizkid Mason Mount says he will keep his "lucky" beard for the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The 21-year-old has become superstitious about his goatee having scored a cracking free-kick in Sunday's win over Wolves.
Mount said: "It's given us some luck so it's going to stay. I'm not at the same stage as Olivier Giroud yet. He knows that, he understands that. He knows I've got room to improve in the beard game.
"But I can learn from him. You have to start somewhere. I know I am going to get stick for it. I've seen a couple of comments about it already. But I remain confident in my decision to keep it and it will stay for a bit longer.
"I gave it a trim up before the Wolves game because it was getting everywhere. I've been rocking it since isolation. I grew it out a bit. I feel like I have got a strong beard going on.
"The sides are a bit lacking but I'm happy with it under the chin. But it's given us some good performances. Since growing it I've scored a couple of goals and now we're in the FA Cup final.
"I've obviously kept it and since the restart I have had a couple of good performances so I haven't thought about shaving it off. Once the sides come I'm on my way to getting an Olly Giroud beard."
The FA Cup final between Arsenal and Chelsea will be held at Wembley on Saturday, August 1 and will kick-off at 5:30pm (BST).
