Shakhtar Donetsk defender Mykola Matvienko is being lined up for a move to England.
Leeds United are in talks to sign the Ukraine international, though face competition from West Ham United.
The Daily Express says the Hammers are leaning on the presence of Andriy Yarmolenko to convince his Ukraine teammate Matvienko about a move to London.
Last season, Matvienko played 38 matches in all competitions for Shakhtar and reached the Europa League semifinals.
His contract runs to 2021.
