Barcelona are willing to include Nelson Semedo in a new offer for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
With less than a year to run on his contract and showing a desire to return to Barca, there is a confidence a deal can be struck.
Barca have lodged a €10m bid for Garcia - which City are yet to respond to.
However, Sport says Barca are willing to up their proposal by including Semedo in a new offer. City are interested in the fullback - though it would mean the Sky Blues needing to come up with a cash component to close an agreement.
Barca directors aren't expecting a quick deal with City, despite Garcia's stand.
