The coach wants to think about the future and take over another team so he wants Barca to finish the paperwork. The club have received the news and will deal with it "in good time".
Setien and his people also want the payment owed after his sacking, which has not been made yet.
Setien and Barcelona agreed a deal to cancel his contract after the debacle against Bayern Munich. He wanted to stay but Barca wanted him to go and appointed Ronald Koeman as the new coach.
