Chelsea have made a new offer for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.
Transfer negotiations resumed this week for the Germany international.
The Guardian says Chelsea have made a new bid of €65m plus €15m in bonuses.
However, the clubs are €20m apart as Leverkusen continues to value Havertz at €100m. The Bundesliga club is currently refusing to lower its valuation.
Havertz and Chelsea have already agreed on a five-year contract.
