Manchester City have expressed interest in Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix.
After selling Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich, City are in the market for a replacement and have sounded out Atletico about Felix's situation.
The Athletic says City were keen on Felix when he was with Benfica, though baulked at paying his €120m buyout clause - something Atleti were prepared to do.
Felix is contracted to Atletico until 2026.
The Portugal international is unlikely to be allowed to leave Atletico for less than the €120m they shelled out for him.
