Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte has congratulated Andrea Pirlo on his appointment at Juventus.
Maurizio Sarri was sacked and replaced by Pirlo on Saturday after their Champions League elimination by Lyon.
Conte remarked, “I am certainly very happy for Andrea, because on top of everything he gave me in a football sense, he is an exceptional person and I have immense affection for him.
“Having said that, seeing players who I used to train are now becoming coaches is starting to make me feel old!"
Conte coached Pirlo at Juventus before the latter left for New York City FC.
