Lewis Dunk has signed a new five-year contract with Brighton.
The 28-year-old centre-half was on the list of Chelsea targets as they search for reinforcement in defence.
But it appears Dunk is happy to remain on the South Coast after extending his contract by another five years.
He said: “I'm delighted to have signed a new contract.
“The aim now is to build on a record Premier League season and help the club continue its recent progress over the next five years."
