Nice midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin admits he didn't initially want to leave England.
Schneiderlin surprisingly joined Nice in the final weeks of the season from Everton.
He told L'Equipe: "My first goal was not to leave England. I listened to everything and had English, Spanish and Italian clubs.
"The Nice project touched me as soon as I spoke with Julien Fournier (director of football) and Patrick Vieira. I thought it was fantastic.
"It is a strictly sporting choice."
