Granada are aiming to pick up fringe players on-loan from Real Madrid.
Marca says top of the list was Takefusa Kubo, however the Japanese youngster - one of the most in-demand players in the summer transfer window - will now spend the 2020/21 campaign with Villarreal.
Undeterred, Granada are following another versatile Madrid forward in 21-year-old Brahim Diaz. Once again however there is competition, with Real Betis this time making their interest known, and are understood to be closing in on a loan deal.
Jesus Vallejo was already at Granada last term on a short-term loan, and following strong displays, could rejoin on a season-long loan for the upcoming campaign.
