Leeds United have signed Arsenal striker Sam Greenwood.

Greenwood joins Leeds on a three-year deal.

The 18-year-old joined the Gunners from Sunderland in 2018 and featured regularly for the club's Under 18s before making the step up to the Under 23s, featuring five times in Premier League 2.

The Yorkshire club are thought to have paid an initial fee of £1.5million which could rise to £3m, with the transfer subject to regulatory process.

Greenwood is the latest youngster to make the move to Elland Road following the arrivals of Dani van den Hueval, Charlie Allen, Cody Drameh and Joe Gelhardt.

The forward failed to make his senior debut at the Emirates and will look to make his mark with Leeds Under 23s before forcing his way into Marcelo Bielsa's first team.
