Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits they face a tough start to their Premier League defence.
Klopp knows to retain their crown, Liverpool must be ready for an opening run of games which sees them face title rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and City - along with neighbours Everton - in the first eight matches.
“You see it's a pretty tight one immediately - and in this moment they are very, very important games," he explained.
“It's important for us obviously after the mini-break to find our feet as quick as possible.
“What I want to see from the boys, that we play our football again, that we create, that we prepare, that we are ready to defend together.
"We want to see just our football."
