Manchester United are in talks with Lille defender Gabriel.
United have jumped into the battle for the Brazilian youngster, who will leave LOSC this summer.
RMC says United have held negotiations with Gabriel's minders, though are yet to make formal contact with Lille.
Lille president Gerard Lopez is demanding around €30m to sell the defender.
Last week, Lopez declared: "He will decide his future this week."
