Manchester United have advanced to the Europa League semi-finals with an extra-time 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen in Cologne.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were sluggish through the first half but still had a penalty overturned and a goal ruled out by VAR.
They lifted in the second-half but could find no way past the stellar Karl-Johan Johnsson in the Copenhagen goal.
Bruno Fernandes found the breakthrough in the first-half of extra-time from the penalty spot after Anthony Martial was fouled in the box. It was United's 21st spot-kick of the season.
United ended the match with 14 shots on target, leaving Johnsson to hold his head up high after a stunning performance.
The Red Devils will now face either Premier League rivals Wolves or Sevilla in the next round in Dusseldorf next Monday.
