Barcelona superkid Ansu Fati has joined the stable of Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes.
Fati has cut ties with Rodrigo Messi, Lionel's brother, to sign with Mendes. Rodrigo Messi negotiated the last contract Fati signed with Barca.
Mendes will take care of both Fati's football career and also his image rights.
Barcelona wish to secure Fati to a new deal in the coming days, which would include upgrading his buyout clause from €170m to €400m. His contract currently runs to 2022.
Worrying for Barca is that Mendes has also been working on behalf of Manchester United this year in their attempts to prise Fati away. United have failed with two offers for the teen in 2020.
