Borussia Dortmund aim to offer Jadon Sancho a staggering pay-rise to resist a move to Manchester United.

BILD report that Dortmund will try and tempt Sancho to stay at the Westfalenstadion with an enhanced deal on the £190,000-a-week he currently earns.

Sancho's annual salary will be increased from 6 million euros (£5.4m) to 10 million euros (£9m), his third contract improvement since joining Dortmund in 2017. His present deals run until June 30, 2022.

However, that wage packet is still considerably less than Sancho would be offered at Old Trafford, which reportedly would around the £340,000-a-week mark.

Dortmund have used this tactic before to keep hold of important players for a little longer, including striker Robert Lewandowski, who was wanted by Bayern Munich in 2013 but moved in 2014.
