PSG have moved ahead of Liverpool in the battle for wantaway Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Spain international wishes to leave Bayern this summer and has favoured a move to Liverpool.
But Abendzeintung München says the Reds are reluctant to meet Bayern's €30m valuation, while in contrast PSG have "no problem to pay the price claimed by Bayern".
For his part, Thiago has welcomed PGS's interest, where he would join former Barca teammate Neymar.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains keen, though has been told they won't go higher than €25m to sign the midfielder.
