Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar is urging Andre Onana to stay for another season
The Cameroon has declared he's planning to leave Ajax this summer, with Chelsea and former club Barcelona among clubs keen.
But Van der Sar told Voetbal International: “I have a warm heart for André and I am sure that he will reach the top of Europe, but if there is no place available there for a while, then playing the Champions League for a year and making sure that you become champion again, for example as a goalkeeper with the least goals against, is also a great goal.
“That could be a nice boost for him to stay longer. And that also applies to others."
