Villarreal have completed the signing of Valencia midfielder Francis Coquelin.
Coquelin has agreed a four-year contract and was due to take part in his first training session with his new Villarreal teammates today.
The Frenchman arrives in an €8m deal.
Coquelin joins along with former VCF captain Dani Parejo, who was undergoing medical tests today. Villarreal have also signed Takefusa Kubo on-loan from Real Madrid.
Villareal have swooped for the Valencia pair after losing midfield veterans Santi Cazorla and Bruno Soriano.
