Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering resting key players during the Europa League knockout stage.
United are highly likely to be headed to Germany next weekend for the final rounds of the competition, which will be played as a mini tournament involving eight teams over 11 days.
Solskjaer can certainly afford to name an inventive line-up for the second leg of their last-16 tie against Austrian side LASK at Old Trafford, as they are already 5-0 up on aggregate.
But he is also keen to preserve the fitness of some of his senior players ahead of the start of the new Premier League season on 12 September, the Manchester Evening News reports.
United, fellow Europa League participants Wolves and Champions League contenders Manchester City and Chelsea could be granted a delayed start depending on how far they progress.
