Sheffield United have held talks with Liverpool about loaning Rhian Brewster.
The 20-year-old scored a brace in Liverpool's 2-2 friendly draw with RB Salzburg on Tuesday.
Brewster enjoyed a successful short-term loan spell at Swansea City last season, scoring 11 times in appearances.
Despite being delighted with his progress, Liverpool feel Brewster should spend another season on loan.
