Brighton boss Graham Potter is delighted to be counting on Ben White ahead of the new season kickoff.
White has seen Brighton fight off attention from Leeds United this preseason.
Potter, discussing a back three formation, said: “It's an option for us. We did a bit last year as well.
“With Ben, with Lewis (Dunk), with Adam (Webster), with Dan (Burn), with Shane (Duffy).
“There's possibilities there so it is something we can look at."
Potter said of White: “He has got on with his work, he enjoys being with the players, he enjoys football.
“He just wants to get on and play football as well as he can."
